Too blessed to be stressed!
Ahh, the kids are off to school, the rush of purchasing notebooks, calculators and new laptops or tablets is behind you, the baked-beans were a hit at the neighborhood picnic,and now it's time to relax again. What? You're feeling strung out still? Hey, don't you know? You're too blessed to be stressed! There's a whole lotta summer remaining! You're awesome, and you deserve these ideas to help you feel like you again!
Autumn is approaching, as our crab tree has been telling me as I crunch across its spent leaves on our green lawn. But you don't have to wait for cool weather to take a long luxurious bath and listen to some light saxophone jazz or classical music and soothe away your summer skin, and de-stress your body, mind and spirit.
Have you ever diffused Lavender and Cedarwood at "spa time?" What about putting a Young Living ART Beauty Cream masque on your beautiful face, climbing into the tub with a cup of tea, or a glass of wine, and relaxing? What? You haven't? Just think about how it feels as you sit in the bathroom, door closed, you're all alone--"Ahhh.....breathe! Can't you feel the stress just melting away as you inhale the scent of your favorite oil wafting through the room from your diffuser? You're too blessed to be stressed! Try it!
Then, when it's time to scrub-a-dub-dub your relaxed muscles, why not try my favorite DIY body scrub?
* 1 cup Himalayan salt or mineral salt with no additives
* 1 teaspoon V6 Vegetable Oil Complex (or EVOO or Grapeseed)
* 10 drops of your favorite essential oil or blend
(Stress-Away, PEPPERMINT, Geranium, or Eucalpytus Blue are some of my all-time favorites!)
* Stir with a fork and place in small GLASS jar
Total preparation time: 3 minutes
To use, gently rub a little on skin and leave on for a few minutes if possible before rinsing off. Super for a foot-scrub before a self-pedicure or any time you want a little treat for your toes!
(Use it in the shower, too, if you're just not a "bath gal" like I am! Simply get wet in the shower; then turn the water off while applying the scrub. Shampoo your hair while the body scrub is soaking into your skin; and rinse. Leaves skin feeling WONDERFUL and you are getting some aromatherapy!!!) Be creative with your oils--they are nature's living energy and they adore pampering you!
I don't know about you, but I'm definitely too blessed to be stressed. And I inhale my oils every day morning, afternoon and night (and often times during the day) to help me slow down and enjoy my life. I think you are too blessed to be stressed, too! So, fire up that diffuser, put in 4 -5 drops of your favorite oil, grab a cup of tea and enjoy some "spa time" tonight!
