Lemon up!

Hi friends!  Remember that shampoo from the 70s--that big yellow lemon on top of the cap!  Oh, that stuff smelled good!  This blog has NOTHING to do with that--just a catchy title to get you here!  (Thanks for taking the time to read this!)

The following information is written by Carolyn L. Mein, D.C. (the "Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils" Carolyn Mein that you know of If you've attended any of my classes on emotional release.  She's brilliant.  And while releasing emotions with oils is empowering, this is "a nutshell" of what Lemon might do for you--and since I'm too busy to write a catchy blog today, I've decided to share this great information from a newsletter I received from her.

Lots to know about Lemon--a favorite to so many!  Please check this out!  And if you need some Lemon, let me know.  I will help you get it retail or wholesale--whatever you wish.

Enjoy this beautiful last week of summer season! :)

Are you a Lymph body type?  Read this and find out.  No?  Wanna learn what type you are? Let me know! xox

"One of the core emotional issues for the Lymph body type is the fear of being left behind. This often unconscious fear can manifest as a need to be the best, to be a super or over achiever, to "keep up with the Jones's", or to over train. While these are admirable traits, taken to the extreme, they can be detrimental when the body can no longer keep up. The fear of being left behind is stored in the lymphatics of the body, the essential oil that holds the positive frequency - move - is lemon and the affirmation is "I am free to move forward."   (Is this you?  Then you might need some lemon!  Let me know!)

"Lemon is also used for other emotions, including frustration, sadness, emptiness, entitlement, life being unreliable, detachment, feeling stuck and jealousy. The underlying emotion of jealousy is the fear of being left behind.

Lemon has antiseptic-like properties and contains compounds that have been studied for their effects on immune function. It may serve as an insect repellent and may be beneficial for the skin. (Caution: citrus oils should not be applied to skin that will be exposed to direct sunlight or untraviolet light within 72 hours).

Recommended uses:
  • Using 1-2 drops of Lemon oil may remove gum, oil, grease spots or crayon
  • Using 1 drop of Lemon oil helps add flavor to baked goods or beverages
  • Rubbing a drop of Lemon oil on a corn, callous or bunion mornings and evenings is soothing
  • To clean and increase the shelf life of fresh fruit, fill a bowl with cool water and 2-3 drops of Lemon oil. Drop your cleaned fruit into the water and stir. Be sure all surfaces of the fruit contact the lemon water
  • Soaking your dishcloth or sponge overnight in a bowl of water with a drop of Lemon oil sanitizes it
  • Adding a drop of Lemon oil to your dishwasher before the wash cycle helps in cleaning
  • Rub a drop of Lemon oil on your hands after using a public bathroom to help disinfect
  • Use a paper towel soaked with several drops of Lemon oil to help sanitize the bathroom fixtures
  • Putting a drop of Lemon oil on oily skin or skin blemishes helps balance oil glands
  • Rubbing two drops of Lemon oil topically helps in clearing athlete's foot
  • Rubbing several drops of Lemon oil on legs helps improve circulation
  • Rub Lemon oil on butcher's block or other cutting surfaces to clean and disinfect
  • Put 10-15 drops of Lemon oil in each gallon of carpet cleaning solution to help pull out stains and brighten the rug. This also leaves a fresh smell in the room
  • Rubbing several drops of Lemon oil on cellulite may improve circulation and help eliminate waste from the cells."

There you have it, my friends!

Lemon rocks!  (And it tastes great on the rocks, too!)

Love, light and great peace to you,

Sharon :)
