"Co-py-eeb-a?" That's how you say it!

This wonderful oil (obtained by "tapping" the tree like we do our maple trees) is my GO-TO on top of any oils I use; ie, drives in peppermint, wintergreen, lavender, basil--it truly "ramps up" whatever oil it is on top of and really goes to work!!!!!

Copaiba - (Copaifera reticulata or Copaifera L. genus)

(Enjoy this information prepared by Linda Smith!)

"Now, this is a very unusual tree treasured by the native peoples of South America for centuries. Just as the maple tree is tapped for its sap to make sugar, the copaiba tree is tapped for its oleoresin that is then distilled to give us a clear lightly scented essential oil. This unique oil is a cox-2 inhibitor according to science making it an excellent support for the body.

Native peoples have used the sap from this tree for multiple ways to support the physical body—musculoskeletal, circulatory, skin, urinary, respiratory, and digestive systems—anywhere there is inflammation. What is interesting is that modern research has verified all of the traditional uses for this oil. Let us just say that it has been traditionally used for whatever ails a person. Copaiba helps to elevate mood and therefore is uplifting. It also helps combat stress, tension and anxiety. Many say that copaiba amplifies the effects of other essential oils."  (Yes, I'm one who says this and knows it to be so!!!!)

Enjoy your Copaiba, which comes in the Premium Starter Kits.  It has a very soft fragrance; and therefore, blends well with many other oils.

Have a great day!  Call me with anything you need!

Love and light,

Sharon :)
