Summer Sandal Season? Grab your Tea Tree!
Hello friends. What a beautiful week of sunshine here in Wisconsin! I know I've been wearing my sandals for a week now, and it's time to get my tootsies ready for six months of exposure! No time for a fancy pedicure? No worries. You've got your "Every day" oils!
Sugar Scrub DIY:
I make my sugar scrub with 1/4 C carrier oil (Grapeseed, Avocado, Almond, or Young Living's V6 if you've got it) and 1/2 C of sugar (raw or white--I like a little of both.)
Grab a baggie and squish it around.
Then add 6 - 8 drops of whatever oil you wish (for feet, I LOVE Peppermint, Eucalyptus Globulus or Lavender....they're your toes--treat them how you wish!)
And after you've dropped the oil onto the mushy scrub, squeeze it all together awhile (massage the baggie a few more seconds);
Then cut the tip off the baggie and squeeze contents into a glass jar--voila--sugar scrub!
Then take a tablespoonful and scrub-a-dub-dub your toes and heels and top of your foot--then rinse; and grab your favorite soft terry cloth towel and blot dry.
Repeat with the other foot.
Then folllow these directions from YL's blog for a super-duper cuticle treatment:
After a shower or bath, gently push your cuticles back in preparation for a DIY cuticle treatment. You can use a pedicure tool or a towel.
Fill an empty 15-ml* bottle about halfway with V-6. Add 20 drops of Tea Tree oil, and then continue to add more V-6 until the bottle is full. To use, add 1 drop to your cuticles and rub in until absorbed.
HINT: Use an AromaGlide™ Roller Fitment on the top of your 15-ml* bottle to make application of this treatment quick and easy.
*15 ml is a larger size of the YL oils. If you don't have any yet because you're new or haven't emptied yours yet, let me know. If you have a home-gathering in May, I'll give you TWO!
Have a great week and kick off your shoes and give those piggies some oxygen! Spring's in full swing!
Until next time,
Love and light
Frontier Sharon :)
- As always, tell me how you're using your Every day oil collection. I'll use your tip/testimonial in a future "e-Scential News" or blog post!
